The 3rd Annual Blacksburg Fire Department Auxiliary Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, September 24th at the Blacksburg Country Club.
Schedule:
11:30 am - Registration begins
1 pm - Shotgun tournament begins
The awards ceremony will immediately follow the day of golf. Awards for the accomplishments of the day will be distributed as well as various door prizes. Dinner will be provided at this time.
The team registration fee is $250 per team and the price includes cart and green fees. Mulligans can also be purchased at 3 for $5 a person.
All funds will benefit the Blacksburg Fire Department Auxiliary.
Proper golf attire is required. No jeans or t-shirts allowed.
The Blacksburg Fire Department Auxiliary is an organization composed of firefighters’ spouses. The organization offers support to the Blacksburg Volunteer Fire Department on an as needed, ongoing basis. They support the fire department in various ways, such as setting up and working annual events like Steppin’ Out and the Blacksburg Fire Department Open House. They also provide meals and assistance to the firefighters and other emergency personnel during emergencies as well at departmental trainings.
