Description:
The Ballroom Dance Class for Beginners is one of the YMCA's Open University classes. The class teaches basic steps, music and variations of Slow and Viennese Waltz, Tango and Foxtrot, and also Latin dances – Cha-cha, Rumba, Samba and Jive every Thursday.
The instructors are Nataliya Timoshevskaya and Whitney McCrum-Morrison, who have been dancing more than 10 years, and would love to share with you their experience and love for dance.
Dance is a great opportunity to improve your posture and get a light confident step, meet new people or spend more quality time with your spouse. It doesn’t matter if you are retired or a young mother, or just want to learn how to spare your partner’s feet dancing at a party.
Come and learn how to dance, alone or with a partner. Bring comfortable shoes and your desire to dance! Every lesson starts with a fun light warm-up.
