On Thursday, October 11th, the RU Concert Jazz Ensemble and Jazztet, under the direction of Dr. Christopher White, will present an evening of contemporary music for big band and jazz classics.
Featured on the program works by Horace Silver including the classics Room 608 and Filthy McNasty. Also presented are Charlie Parker’s Scrapple from the Apple, and works popularized by the U.S. Army Jazz Ambassadors.
Admission is free and open to the public.
