Description:
Join the Institute for Creativity, Arts & Technology (ICAT) for the special Haunted House on Tuesday, October 30th at their ICAT STUDIOne location at Collegiate Square.

Tech or Treaters ages five to twelve are invited to a Halloween event scarier than a hard drive full of critical data that isn't backed up. Demonstrations will include clever spooky-themed technologies developed by students and faculty at Virginia Tech in a family-friendly environment.

Some highlights of the event include interactive digital Jack-o’-lanterns, eerie arms reaching out, a bubbling cauldron, ghostly images in dry ice, projected rats and snakes, and much more.

Poetry, art, Halloween gingerbread house displays, and toy activities will also engage children’s imaginations and curiosity. Spooky music will be performed by the VT Strings Project.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Admission is free.

ICAT STUDIOne is located at 460 Turner Street in Collegiate Square.
