NOTE: This event has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

The 5K for Costa Rica will be held on Saturday, October 27th within the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center. All runners are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes.

Registration starts at 8:30 am the day of the race and the race will begin at 9 am.

All participants who pre-register will receive at free t-shirt. Awards will be given for the top three finishers for both men and women as well as for the best costume.

The 5K for Costa Rica is being held to raise funds for a ministry in Costa Rica that will provide a safe and fun atmosphere for college students, a refuge for worn-out missionaries, and provide job opportunities for women rescued from the sex-trade industry.
