The New River Valley Mall and the Christiansburg Police Department will host the 12th Annual Fall Festival on the NRV Mall front parking lot between Olive Garden and IHOP on Saturday, October 20th. This is a huge community event that draws OVER 2,500 people each year.
More than a dozen vendors will be set up with information about kids’ health and safety. Kids can enjoy free games and activities, as well as hay rides and train rides. Police, Fire and EMS vehicles will also be on display. A helicopter will land in the parking lot at noon.
There will be food items for sale and live music throughout the event.
The Christiansburg Police Department’s Relay for Life team will sell baked goods and pink breast cancer awareness police patches. The Citizens Support Group will also be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win the battery operated Charger replica.
Additionally, the TRIAD Car Show will be held at the Fall Festival. Entry fees are $10. Display and voting will be held from 11 am - 2 pm. Trophies will be awarded at 2:30 pm.
Admission is free however some rides and attractions are a separate cost.
