Description:
Hokiesaurus presents: "Fossils!", a special program to celebrate National Fossil Day with the Hokiesaurus on Wednesday, October 17th at the Museum of Geosciences on the campus of Virginia Tech.

This youth program offers hands-on activities about fossilization, classification, interpretation, and different kinds of fossils like dinosaur footprints. The program will be led by Paleontology grad student Drew Muscente.

This event is also appropriate for pK-12 teachers and other educators who would like to replicate these activities.

The Museum of Geosciences is located in Derring Hall, room 2062.
