Description:
The Annual GeoFair and Mineral Sale will be held on Saturday, October 20th at the Museum of Geosciences on the campus of Virginia Tech.

All around the Museum there will be hands-on, family-friendly activity stations staffed by Geoscience students: rock, mineral, and gem identification, fossil excavation, fluorescent rocks, the OmniGlobe display, the EmRiver stream simulator, and more.

Come check out the mineral sale to find great unique gifts! Teaching specimens, collector-quality specimens, and special finds for students.

Admission is free and open to the public.

This event is an annual fundraiser for the Museum.

The Museum of Geosciences is located in Derring Hall, room 2062.
