Join guide and trail leader Nancy Brauer for the YMCA's Huckleberry Trail Geology Walk on Sunday, October 28th. This guided walk will include discussion of the geology of the area.
The hike will be about 2 miles ending at Merrimac parking area and is considered an easy hike.
The hike will begin at the New River Valley Mall entrance to the Huckleberry Trail. Participants need to meet here.
Bring: Plenty of water, snacks, dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes!
Note: Hikes subject to change due to weather conditions.
