Come see "behind the scenes" at the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Blacksburg during our biennial Open House on Saturday, November 11th!
Over the course of about an hour, you'll receive a tour of the facility, learn how forecasts and warnings are created, see what types of data and instruments we use, view dramatic weather photos and video, ask meteorologists questions, and see weather-related experiments and meet Virginia Tech meteorology students too!
The National Weather Service Office is located at 1750 Forecast Drive in Blacksburg.
