The Cash Mobs are free however the goal is for everyone to spend money at the to be determined location to encourage shopping local.

Description:
On Thursday, October 18th at 5:32 pm Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. will partner with Harding Avenue Elementary School PTA for a Cash Mob. The "Mob" will meet in front of the murals in Market Square Park located along Roanoke Street in Downtown Blacksburg.

ALL are welcome- we will be visiting two extremely family friendly locations so bring the kids! In addition to visiting two locally owned downtown businesses- one for shopping and one for the "aftermob" celebration, the Cash Mob will show support for our downtown school- Harding Avenue Elementary.

We all go to a local business on a specific date and time and give them an extraordinary time of patronage! Then we'll all go and get to know each other over a drink or snack at one of our local watering holes! No need to spend a ton of money, but just join in by being a patron of any level. A real way to be a true part of our downtown community.
