Description:
The 2012 Fall Water Walk, a 5K run and walk will be held on the Radford University campus on Saturday, October 20th. The 5K will begin at Lot CC at Radford University's Dedmon Center.

All proceeds from the 5K will benefit the Water Project and the goal of the RU group is to raise $7,500 enough to pay for construction of one well in Africa.

Schedule:
9 am: Registration
10 am: Run/Walk

The group also will sell wristbands displaying the words "2012 Water Walk" during the event. The cost of each wristband is $2.

Once the students have met their goal, the funds will be transferred to the Water Project, which has equipment in Africa ready to drill and construct the well.

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) global nonprofit organization whose mission is to help communities around the world that lack access to clean water and proper sanitation.
