Description:
The Giles Little Theater presents "Dear Ruth" a comedy by Norman Krasna. The play will be performed on November 2, 3, 9 and 10 at 7 pm and on November 4 and 11 at 3 pm at the Pearisburg Community Center.

Dear Ruth is a family situation-comedy about two sisters, an army-flier, mistaken identity, and a trans-Atlantic romance-- all thanks to one patriotic, precocious teenager and the US Postal Service.

It delighted theater-goers when it debuted on Broadway during the war and was soon after made into a hit film starring Joan Caulfield and William Holden. It continued to delight audiences when it was revived last year in New York, and we now hope it will likewise delight audiences here in Giles.

Tickets will be available for purchase at the door.

The Pearisburg Community Center is located at 1410 Wenonah Avenue.

The Giles Little Theater is a non profit community theater located in Pearisburg, Virginia serving Giles County and the surrounding New River Valley. Its most recent reincarnation occurred in the Fall of 2008 under the vision and guidance of Susan Marie Gordon. Its goal is to bring Giles County classic productions from the Broadway stage performed by local talent.
