Description:
On Monday, November 5th at 6:30 pm learn to knit an easy washcloth for the holiday gift-giving season at the Blacksburg Public Library.

Pair it with a nice handmade soap or bottle of lotion, and this special item will surely make your loved one’s day.

There will be two free patterns available: a plain washcloth for beginners, or one with a snowflake design for those who feel comfortable with their knitting skills. Though we provide the patterns, knitter will need to bring their own yarn and needles.

No previous knitting experience is necessary.

If you miss the first class, feel free to attend either of the other sessions to catch up! The second session will be offered on Monday, November 19th at 6:30 pm and the final session will be offered on Monday, November 26 at 6:30 pm.

All sessions are offered by library staff member Joanna Roye who has been knitting and crocheting for more than five years. Last year she began designing her own knitting patterns, and taught classes at the former Wyrd Sisters Yarn Shop in Roanoke, Virginia.
