The Cash Mobs are free however the goal is for everyone to spend money at the to be determined location to encourage shopping local.

Description:
On Wednesday, November 14th at 6:03 pm Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. will partner with Valley Interfaith Child Care Centers (VICCC) for a Cash and Diaper Mob. The “Mob” will meet on the steps of Theatre 101 on College Avenue in Downtown Blacksburg.

All are welcome! Participants should bring along infant diapers or wipes to donate to Valley Interfaith Child Care Centers. In addition to supporting this wonderful, local, nonprofit group the Cash Mob will also visit two locally owned downtown businesses; one for shopping and one for the “aftermob” celebration!

The Cash Mobs go to a local business on a specific date and time and give them an extraordinary time of patronage! Afterwards, we'll all go and get to know each other over a drink or snack at one of our local watering holes! No need to spend a ton of money, but just join in by being a patron of any level. A real way to be a true part of our downtown community.
