Join Jaelynn's Journey 5K Run/Walk, 1 Mile Fun Run and Diaper Dash on Saturday, May 18th beginning at Bisset Park's shelter #1.

Jaelynn is a strong, energetic, and bubbly 2 1/2 year old who was born with a rare bone condition, Fibular Hemimelia. Jaelynn and her parents live in Christiansburg, VA. She underwent her first surgery to reconstruct her ankle and straighten her tibia at 13 months old. This December she'll have a bone lengthening surgery on her tibia, in Baltimore, MD, and will be required to stay there for 3 months.

100% of the proceeds from this event will be applied to the expenses relating to her surgery this December.

Schedule:
- 8:30-9:15 am: Race Day Registration & Packet Pick-Up at Registration Booth
- 9:20 am: Welcome and Race Briefing
- 9:30 am: 5k Race Start
- ~9:30 am: 1 Mile Fun Run (Shortly after 5k start)

Registration is $20 on or before May 8, 2013 and $25 afterwards. T-shirts are guaranteed to all participants registered on or before May 8, 2013. Make all check payable to Belmont Christian Church.

Registration packet pick-up and race day registration will be held from 8:30-9:15 am at the registration booth.

Medals will be awarded for the top two males and females in 5 separate age groups for the 5k. The top female and male 5k walker will also be awarded a medal. The top female and male will receive a trophy in the 1 Mile Fun Run. All Diaper Dash participants will receive a medal.

This event is rain or shine. No refunds. The 1 Mile Fun Run is for ages 12 and younger.
