The Meadowbrook Public Library will host a special presentation by Ricky Cox as he discusses and performs ballads and lyrical folk songs of Appalachia on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 2:00 pm.

He will also do a couple of songs on the old-time banjo and briefly discuss the central role of the fiddle in the Appalachian music.

Bring some friends and enjoy this great program. Admission is free.
