Description:
The Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets present the first Highty-Tighties Wind Ensemble Concert on Sunday, May 5th in the Old Dominion Ballroom located within the Squires Student Center.

This program is inspired by the rich history of the band and will include marches by John Phillip Sousa, as well as patriotic and contemporary pieces.

The Highty-Tighties, Virginia Tech's Regimental Band, is Virginia Tech's longest serving musical organization. In 1893, a cadet band company was formed as a permanent part of the cadet regiment. For almost 120 years, we have been known primarily as a field band with an unparalleled string of victories (including 129 first place trophies in 130 competitive parades!).
