The Perspective Art Gallery located within the Squires Student Center hosts the opening reception for "Blue Pomegranate" on Friday, June 7th.

Blue Pomegranate is the combined work of a group of artists. The group consists of artists Joni Pienkowski, Allison Keys, Jennifer Hand, Mary Moore, Sandy Kennedy and Wonjung Jung.

Artists Statement:
We are a group of friends that has gradually formed over the years. We are all artists: painters, potters and children’s book illustrators. We aim to weave art naturally and creatively into our lives and we strive to look beyond the usual in our work, our lives, and our spirituality. We gather together once a month to share our art, thoughts, ideas, and food. We sustain each other, lift each other up, and encourage each other in our endeavors.

The exhibit will be on display from June 1, 2013 through August 11, 2013.

The Perspective Art Gallery is located on the second floor of the Squires Student Center.
