Description:
The Jacksonville Center for the Arts offers the week long class Handmade Bathworks: Soap and Natural Body Products with Colleen Trickett beginning on Monday, June 17th and meeting from 9am - 5pm daily.

Class Description:
Make gentle soaps for sensitive skin using the cold-process method. First comes safety - learning to work with lye. Then it's time to experiment with oils, scents, and natural additives to make custom-blended soaps. We'll also make lotion, cream, salve, lip balm, and bath salts to assemble a bath basket. All levels welcome. Additional materials fee approximately 75.00 to 130.00.

Minimum Enrollment, 4: Maximum Enrollment, 12
Minimum Age: Responsible Young Adult

The Jax is located at 220 Parkway Lane South in Floyd, ½ mile south of the stoplight on Route 8. Regular hours are Monday to Saturday, 10-5pm and Sunday, 12-5pm.
