Class Description:
The blacksmith before all else and above all else, is the tool maker, this is the heritage of the blacksmith. Join blacksmith Gerald Boggs in learning the most satisfying of blacksmith skills: The forging of tools. The focus of the class will be on forging tongs, handled top tooling and bottom tooling for the hardy hole. However, before we get to them, we'll need to forge some of the tools we'll need to make those tools, so we'll start the class with chisels, punches and drifts.
