Description:
The Jacksonville Center for the Arts offers their Traditional Fiber Arts Seminar with instructor Sharon Hall on Saturdays, July 12 and July 20th.

Note: Seniors can enroll in the seminar for half-price.

Class Description:
Our goal will be to develop practical skills , as well as an appreciation of the history and traditions of hand sewing, wool applique' and quilting. Beginning with basic running, blanket, and whip stitches, we will create a small sampler. This will provide a basis for a wool applique' pincushion project, and while continuing to improve our skills, we will complete a hand pieced quilted pillow cover.

Materials Fee: $10
Minimum Enrollment, 4: Maximum Enrollment, 12
Minimum Age: Responsible Young Adult, However must be 50+ to receive senior special price

Note: If you are not a senior, please call the center to register for this class. (Jax Members $91 or General Public $100.)
