The Blacksburg Library presents the Joy of Yarn on Monday, June 3rd.

Crochet returns with two cute and simple patterns for baby blankets. There’s nothing nicer than making a snuggly blanket to give as a gift to new parents, or just to cozy up in yourself! These patterns are for baby-sized blankets, but can easily be scaled up if you have the gumption to make an afghan. Changing yarn colors to produce stripes makes these patterns pop, so here’s a chance to explore your favorite color-combinations!

Required Materials: At least 800 yards of worsted weight yarn (typically about 4 skeins), and a US Size H (5.00 mm) crochet hook
