Join the 2nd Annual Blacksburg Zombie Walk throughout Downtown Blacksburg during the Summer Solstice Festival on Saturday, June 22nd with the walk promptly starting at 8 pm and the gathering of zombies between 7-8 pm at the War Memorial on the campus of Virginia Tech.

We had such a great turn out last year but I KNOW that we can do BETTER! 250 Zombies is A LOT, but I want to DOUBLE THAT! INVITE YOUR FRIENDS! Spread the Gore!

We will be meeting at the WAR MEMORIAL on the Drill Field and will Invade the Festival in our horde through downtown and on in to the festival square. After a couple of laps through the festival we will disperse and enjoy an evening of BRAINS!!

This event is ALL AGES! We had quite a few LITTLE ZOMBIES last year and they all loved it! There will be obvious amounts of Gore, Blood, and various zombie like content, so please parents use your best judgement in rather or not your little zombie will enjoy this!

In addition, the organizer of the Zombie Walk, Amie Hankins, would like to use this opportunity to give back to the community. Bins will be setup up at War Memorial and it's requested that you awesome ZOMBIES bring non perishable items that we can donate to The Giving Food Pantry, they help feed HUNDREDS of needy families each month and EVERY single little bit helps!
