Join Chateau Morrisette for the Black Dog Wine & Music Festival on Saturday, August 10th at Nancy Morrisette Field.

The Black Dog Wine and Music Festivals gather people from near and far and the concert field becomes a big party for music lovers, sun chairs, barefoot dancing and frivolity. A variety of outdoor vendors will be offering shopping and food to complete the festival atmosphere.

The music line-up includes headliner JJ Grey & Mofro with operner Rosco Bandana.

Singing with a passion and fervor directly influenced by the classic soul heroes, national recording blues artist, JJ Grey has written and recorded five albums of original songs steeped in the rhythm & blues, rock, and country soul of his native backwoods home outside Jacksonville, Florida. Grey comes from a long tradition of Southern storytellers and, in that spirit, he fills his songs with details that are at once vivid, personal and universal.

Rosco Bandana is a Gulfport, Mississippi based band whose act includes blues/americana style music blended with modern folk and a hint of gypsy fanfare. The band formed recently and has been shaking up the local music scene with their energetic live performances.

Admission includes music, winery tour, tastings and souvenir wine glass.

Tickets are $25. Children by accompanied by an adult admission are admitted at no charge!

Note: Advance tickets will stop being sold at 5:00 PM the Friday immediately before the concert date.

No picnic baskets, or outside food & beverage permitted.
