The 2013 Radford After Five Concert Series continues with The Worx on Friday, July 19th at the Central Lumber Parking Lot near Sal's and El Charro.

The Worx is not just another band. The five members are consummate musicians, experienced and dedicated to perfecting their craft. This means each exciting show is being presented by professionals giving their very best, enjoying themselves and their audience. Covering all genres of music from modern pop to hip hop, from country to the eighties, The Worx can play it all.

At the four fun-filled evenings planned throughout the summer there will be children’s’ activities & crafts, a photo booth and a themed costume contest in tandem with our great musical line up. And don’t forget food and drink; freshly grilled Polish sausages, hot dogs, Kettle corn, and our fabulous beverage garden serving chilled refreshments will all be available during the concerts.

The gate opens for all concerts at 6 pm and music plays from 6:30 pm until 10 pm. Tickets for this family-friendly event are $6 in advance and $7 at the gate. Children under 12 free.

Advance tickets can be purchased at the First Bank of Virginia, The Bank of Floyd, Stellar One, Radford Public Library and the Radford Chamber of Commerce.

All are invited to come soak up the last of the sun’s rays while enjoying the music and Radford’s historic backdrops: the Norfolk Southern Rail Yard, Central Lumber (Radford’s first grocery store), and the Bisset Park Gazebo.
