Critical Point Theatre, the newest professional theatre in the New River Valley, presents The Pavilion by Craig Wright on Friday, June 28th and Saturday, June 29th at 7:30 pm and on Sunday, June 30th at 3 pm.

Craig Wright's play The Pavilion is a magical romp through nostalgia, regret, and the hurtling force of time in the eyes of two high school sweethearts.

Coaxed by an effervescent Narrator, the story revolves around Peter and Kari, former flames whose relationship ended on an awful note when Peter abandoned Kari as a pregnant teen. Years later, the two confront their insecurities, knowing they have only one night to hash out their issues. A tone of poignant, magical realism pervades between the curious and powerful Narrator and the confused couple on an unforgettable evening.
