Join Claytor Lake State Park Staff for their Rove the Coves Canoe Trip around Claytor Lake available every Thursday until September 7, 2013.

This family friendly tour is an excellent opportunity for canoeists of all abilities, and a great way to witness the park from an entirely different perspective. Have fun on the water, observe wildlife habitat, discover geologic history, and explore breath taking scenery!

Ideal for families, friends, individuals, groups, and anyone looking for an adventure! Trip includes guided tour, personal flotation devices, canoes, paddles, and basic canoe instruction.

No canoeing experience required, we'll teach you the skills you need for the tour. All equipment is provided. Closed toe shoes required. Pre-registration at the Water's Edge Meeting Facility Gift Shop is required.

Trip Distance: 2.5 miles
Program Time: Approx. 4 hours
Cost: $5.00 per person

Participants must be at least 10 years of age. Two people per canoe, persons under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
