Join Claytor Lake State Park staff for their special program The Buzz About Bees every Tuesday through September 3, 2013.

Bees are not simply bothersome bugs, they lead quite extraordinary lives! The insects live in a complex society ruled by a queen and are a flower's best friend. Find out why these pollinating insects are the bees knees and more!

Parking fees can be paid at the Contact Station. Meet at the Discovery Center located within the Beach Complex.

We suggest that participants wear closed toed shoes, outdoor appropriate clothing, sunscreen, bug spray, and bring plenty of water.
