Description:
Join Claytor Lake State Park Staff for a special program Turkey Tid-Bits every Saturday starting at 9 am through August 2013.
See if you can "gobble" up some facts about these elusive local birds. Once the runner-up to be America's symbol, people have known for a long time how special these birds truly are. You may even be able to find one as we go on a short walk and follow the clues they have left behind!
Join us at the gavel overflow parking lot on the right, just past the Park Contact Station. Parking fees can be paid at the Contact Station.
Be sure to wear hiking shoes, outdoor clothing, sunscreen, bug spray and to have plenty of water.
