The Radford Visitor's Center and the Radford Noon Rotary invite you to participate in their Best Dressed Duck Contest as part of their annual Lucky Duck Race. Contest entries are due back at the Radford Visitor's Center located inside the Glencoe Museum by Friday, July 19th.

Local businesses may decorate a duck in a fun and festive way that best represents their business. The ducks will be on display at the Radford Rec Center and the Radford Public Library for two weeks respectively prior to the Lucky Duck Race on Saturday, August 17th.

A Facebook vote will decide which company earns the title of the ‘2013 Best Dressed Duck’. The 12” ducks are available at the Radford Visitor’s Center for $50 and are due back in their best attire by July 19th so that they can begin their quest for the Best Dressed title.

This year’s annual Lucky (rubber) Duck Race will be held on Saturday, August 17th in Bisset Park during the ‘Saturday in the Park’ Classic Car Show.

The annual Lucky Duck Race is sponsored by the Radford Noon Rotary and the Radford Visitor’s Center to support the Noon Rotary Scholarship Fund which is awarded annually to a Radford High School student who will be attending Radford University.
