Micah’s Backpack Goes Mobile at the Blacksburg Library every Thursday in the summer through August 29.

This organization provides meals and snacks to students qualifying for free or reduced lunch during the school week, and now they are expanding their services to the summer months. With their Micah’s Backpack Mobile bus they are driving out hunger!

The bus will be in the library parking lot every Thursday during the summer and will place snacks in the hands of children of all ages – no registration required.

Volunteers are also needed to man the bus.
