Join the Blacksburg Library for a special presentation on Quilting by Paula Golden on Wednesday, August 14th.

To make a beautiful quilt, you need three things: motivation, skills, and quality supplies!

Paula Golden, internationally known fiber artist whose quilts are featured in several books and collections throughout the country, will provide quilters (or quilters-to-be) with an introduction to all three things. She will talk about what makes a quilt a quilt, the basic supplies needed, and how to get started. There will be a handout of local quilt groups, area quilt shops and what a basic sewing kit should include. Some of her gorgeous creations will be displayed to provide the added motivation to help you unleash you inner-quilter!
