Join USDA Forest Service Representative Barbara Walker for a Nature Walk at Pandapas Pond on Saturday, August 17th at 10 am.
All are invited to join her to view some beautiful butterflies, native bees and hopefully hummingbird moths provided the weather cooperates.
This walk is free and open to the public and reservations are not required. Meet at the bulletin board in the lower parking lot.
Note: Lately there been lots of gnats. It is suggested that you wear a head net if you have one or wear some bug juice.
Pandapas Pond is about 15 minutes northwest of Blacksburg, Virginia and located off of US-460.
Directions: From Blacksburg, travel on US-460 West. (About 7 miles) Turn left onto Forest Service Road 808 Follow signs to the lower parking lot
