Born in Texas, and raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, Chris Jamison finished high school in London, England. It was in London that he first began writing and performing his own music. Chris Jamison is a songwriter with a keen sense of hook, and melody coupled effortlessly with a gift for the turn-of-a-phrase.

No Depression has called his songs “sing-a-long immediate and earworm lasting", while the Austin Chronicle has called the "prolific" young songwriter's lyrics “contemporary poetry" even naming his Sleeping with the T.V. On EP to its Top Ten List of 2013.

Chris Jamison calls Asheville, NC home where he is writing, performing and working on the next record.
