Radford University presents the 2017 Out of the Darkness Campus Walk for Suicide Prevention on Saturday, April 15, 2017 starting outside the Bonnie Hurlburt Student Center.

Schedule:
• 9:30-10:00 am - Same Day Registration / Check-In
• ~10:00 am - Walk Begins

Out of the Darkness is a community walk that helps to raise awareness and money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). When you walk in the Out of the Darkness Campus Walks, you join the effort with thousands of people to raise awareness and funds that allow AFSP to invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support survivors of suicide loss.

There is no fee to join the walk and participate.

Participants can register online or before the walk during the day of the event.

If you cannot attend but would still like to be involved, please donate or register yourself as a virtual walker.

Online registration closes at noon the Friday before the walk. However, anyone who would like to participate can register in person at the walk from the time check-in begins until the walk starts. Walk donations are accepted until June 30, 2017.
