Description:
The Second Annual Stillborn Speak 5k Run / Walk and Kids One Mile Run will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 on the Huckleberry Trail starting at the Christiansburg Recreation Center.
The race will begin at the Christiansburg Recreation Center at 8 am and run and/or walk to the New River Valley Mall and back. There will be 5 female and 5 male age groups. Awards will be given for the top female overall, top male overall, and for the first male and female in each age group.
Age groups are:
• 19 and under
• 20-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50+
The 1 mile run will begin about 8:15 am and is for ages 12 and younger. Awards will be given to the top 2 females and the top 2 males in the 1 mile run.
There will also be a raffle at the event.
The 5K is $25.00 per person and the 1 Mile Run for Kids is $5.00.

All proceeds benefit and will support the mission of Stillborn Speak.
Stillborn Speak's mission is to bring awareness to the prevalence of stillbirths in America through educating pregnant and prospectively pregnant families and individuals. Additionally, through emotional and monetary means, our mission includes care and support for those already experiencing stillbirth.
