The Pearis Theatre hosts the Pearisburg Benefit Concert for a local veteran featuring Familiar Strangers and Near November on Saturday, June 10, 2017.

Two rock bands Familiar Strangers and Near November live at the Pearis Theatre this Saturday night! This is a benefit concert for medical expenses of local veterans. Come out and enjoy the tasty original rock and some choice cover tunes while doing your part to support some folks who have earned it on the battlefield!

Familiar Strangers is a wild original, heavy, classic psychedelic rock and blues band based in Snowville, VA ready to bring the tunes to a venue near you. Savage grit and seasoned chops in a cocktail.

Near November is an alternative rock band based in Blacksburg, VA formed in 2013. Although initially playing covers of their favorite bands such as Pearl Jam, Counting Crows, Pink Floyd, R.E.M., they have been working on and perform their own original material as well.

Admission is free however donations are greatly appreciated to help a local veteran with medical costs.
