Description:
Hahn Horticulture Garden at Virginia Tech offers a Summer Floral Arranging Workshop on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 6-8 pm.

Join us for an evening of walking in the garden and flower arranging at the Hahn Horticulture Garden.

Stroll through the Hahn Horticulture Garden with Education and Outreach Coordinator, Stephanie Huckestein, to look at plants that you can grow in your own garden to use in summer floral arrangements. We'll then learn how to create a compote style flower arrangement with Jody Strom, owner of The Moss & Rose, using greenery from the Hahn Garden and locally grown flowers from Stonecrop Farm.

All floral arranging supplies will be provided along with a light snack and beverage.

The cost is $40.00 for the general public and $35.00 for Friends of the Garden.

Please register by July 17, 2017. Note: The workshop is limited to 24 participants.
