The Radford City Chamber of Commerce continues the 2017 West End Wednesdays series featuring music from The Antecedents on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 on the lawn of Glencoe Museum.

Enjoy live music by The Antecedents, on site food by HazelBea Catering, a variety of local vendors (produce, crafts, clothing, and more!), canned craft beer, and desserts!

You know the drill: This is Radford's FREE concert and market series! Bring your lawn chairs, a blanket, your neighbors, you family and the puppy! We're here for YOU, our community and can't be MORE EXCITED to bring you our third installment of #RadfordWEW!

The Antecedents are a heartfelt American roots, rock ‘n roll band from the mountains of Appalachia in Southwest Virginia. With three-part harmony leading the sound you will find yourselves emerged in the vibes of the singer-song writer.

The Antecedents began as a local duo and are now a six piece band dedicated to writing songs with substance, and depth. With influences ranging from all over the timeline of music this acoustic duo has found a unique but familiar approach to modern songwriting, while staying true to the format that captivates a listener's enjoyment. Performing folk, roots, pop, alternative and country.

Throughout 2017 they began opening for national acts, performing at renowned festivals and released their first full length record, “Long Way Home”. The band won the Flight to FloydFest Series in 2018 and earned FloydFest 2018's On the Rise featured act spot and after a fantastic performance have been invited back.
