Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. presents the 2017 Art at the Market on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Virginia Tech's Media Building Lawn.
Art at the Market is Blacksburg’s celebration of fine art and artists. In a sidewalk exposition of unique works you’ll find abstract acrylics, collage, flowers, gourds, still life, photography, and even stone sculpture. Works will be available for purchase.
The judge is Robin Scully Boucher who is the current Art Program Director at Virginia Tech’s Student Engagement and Campus Life where she curates exhibits for Perspective Gallery in Squires Student Center and oversees the Art Reach program, which provides Art Pop Up events on campus and around the community.

The show begins at 9 am and will be juried at 10 am. Live music will be provided by Ragtop.
Art at the Market will be held in conjunction with the annual Breakfast at the Farmers’ Market, a family event featuring wonderful locally grown food, live music and the best produce the farmers have to offer! Make it a family affair and take in some art along with your breakfast.

The Virginia Tech Media Building Lawn is located at 101 Draper Road in Blacksburg, VA across from Market Square Park.
