Rising Silo Farm Brewery presents their monthly Irish Jam with Duada and Friends on Friday, July 21, 2017.
Join us for a monthly jam session with Duada (Mist on the Mountain are on vacation this month) and friends filling your soul with traditional music of the Scots-Irish emigrants who settled the New River Valley and influenced the history of the Appalachian and bluegrass tunes you know today. Sit-ins welcome, bring your instrument, your open ears and tapping toes.
Duada is a traditional Irish band from Blacksburg, VA featuring Jim O'Dowd and his sons Sean O'Dowd and Nevin O'Dowd.

Relax on the patio of Blacksburg's only farm brewery to the taste of craft local brews and kombucha.
A warm and hearty meal prepared by the farm kitchen, Tabula Rasa, is available by cash donation, and supplied by products of Glade Road Growing, Strong Earth Farm and Hoof Hearted Farm LLC and all your favorite local growers and crafters!
Tips encouraged for musicians, there is no cover fee.
