The Dana Palmer Scholarship presents the 12th Annual Dana Palmer Weekend featuring the Dana Palmer Music Fest on Friday, August 4, 2017 at the Bisset Park Gazebo.

Celebrate the 12th Annual Dana Palmer Weekend with music, food, drinks and fun! Enjoy music from the Lil' Sum'n Sum'n band and DJ E The Chef along with the Hometown Hero presentation.

Food will be available for purchase from Little River Grill and adult beverages will be available from a Budweiser Beer Truck.

The Dana Palmer Scholarship was founded in the loving memory of an athlete and friend who always had the highest hopes for all those around. Dana Palmer, a former Radford High School star athlete, was a deputy with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office when he passed away with cancer at the young age of 31 in 2001.

The Dana Palmer Scholarship has been established in Dana’s memory to give honor and respect to student-athletes with the same or similar characteristics. This foundation desires to inspire student athletes to be the best they can be scholastically and athletically.
