Virginia Tech Athletics presents the 2017 Virginia Tech Football Fan Appreciation Day on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the Virginia Tech Indoor Practice Facility.
Meet the 2017 Virginia Tech Hokie Football players and coaches. All players will be in attendance and grouped at stations according to positions. Head coach Justin Fuente, associate head coach and defensive coordinator Bud Foster, assistant head coach Galen Scott and offensive coordinator Brad Cornelsen, along with the entire coaching staff, will also be available to sign autographs at specific coaching stations.
Events include:
• Autographs with Hokie athletes and coaches
• Get your photo taken with the Hokiebird
• Inflatables for the kids
• Enjoy Lane Stadium food samples
• Blacksburg Hokie Club Season Ticket Raffle Drawing for Football & Basketball season tickets
Fans can bring in outside items to be signed, but autograph seekers may have only one item signed at each station. Posters will be provided free of charge to those who wish to get one signed.
The autograph lines will close at approximately 2:30 pm and the event will end promptly at 3:00 pm.
The Blacksburg Hokie Club will also be selling tickets and drawing for their raffle for the chance to win one of three season ticket packages (two 2017 West Outdoor Club season tickets, two 2017 East Side season tickets with parking pass and two 2017/18 Men's Basketball season tickets). Proceeds will support the Virginia Tech student athletes through scholarships and facilities. Tickets are $25.00 each. The drawing will be held live at 2:45 pm. No posed photography will be allowed.
The event will conclude with a special presentation to Hokie Nation.
Hokie Kids' Club Members can enter at 1:30 pm.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
Parking is also free, which includes Lots 1 (Cassell Coliseum), 2 (Lane Stadium South End zone) and 5 (Chicken Hill).
