The Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts kicks off their 2017/18 Music on Mondays concert series with "Heart-Strings" featuring Virginia Tech faculty on Monday, September 11, 2017 at the Squires Recital Salon.
No piano - no problem! Enjoy an evening of intimate music for voice, strings, and drone. Featuring works of Buxtehude, Vaughan Williams and Nico Muhly.
Tenor Brian Thorsett performs a recital joined by faculty members Alan Weinstein, cello; John Irrera, violin; and Nicole Paglialonga, violin.
Admission is free.
