Sapphire Ballroom & Dance Center presents Argentine Tango Workshops with Tate Di Chiazza and Karen Jaffe on Friday, September 29, 2017.

Sapphire Ballroom is excited to welcome Karen Jaffe back to Sapphire! This time she is bringing her long-time partner and native of Buenos Aires, Tate Di Chiazza. Together they are offering a weekend full of workshops and social dancing designed to develop and build the skills you need to enjoy this wonderful social dance.

Join us on the journey of Argentine Tango. In "Path to Tango," we will look deeply at the fundamentals - walking, posture, embrace, and connection - in a relaxed, friendly environment.

It will be both supportive to newcomers and have plenty of material to challenge more advanced dancers. In this workshop, Tate and Karen will introduce and explore the role of both the leader and the follower as well as basic vocabulary for navigation and dancing in Argentine Tango.
