Montgomery Museum & Lewis Miller Art Center presents a Genealogy 101 Class every Wednesday in October with classes from 1:00-2:00 pm each week.

October is National Family History Month and to celebrate the Montgomery Museum & Lewis Miller Regional Art Center is pleased to offer a Free Genealogy 101 Class for beginners.

Genealogy 101 will help you get started on the fascinating journey to find your family history. We will guide you through the genealogy process and introduce you to some available sources, both local and online.

Each week is a separate theme so you can attend one or more of the classes per your interest and as your schedule allows.

• Week 1: How to Get Started
• Week 2: Gathering & Organizing Information
• Week 3: Local Records
• Week 4: Additional Resources

The classes are free and open to the public.

The Montgomery Museum is located at 300 South Pepper Street in Christiansburg, VA.
