Lyric Theatre Late Night presents "Perks of Being a Wallflower" on Friday, October 6, 2017 and Saturday, October 7, 2017 starting at midnight both nights.

Lyric Theatre Late Night continues it's 2017/18 season with the 2012 drama "The Perks of Being a Wallflower". Arrive early for the video pre-show. And, there will be boxes of tissues in the lobby, so you'll be prepared for this emotional rollercoaster.

Based on the novel written by Stephen Chbosky, this is about 15-year-old Charlie, an endearing and naive outsider, coping with first love, the suicide of his best friend, and his own issues while struggling to find a group of people with whom he belongs. The introvert freshman is taken under the wings of two seniors, Sam and Patrick, who welcome him to the real world.

The film is rated PG-13 and stars Logan Lerman, Emma Watson and Ezra Miller.
