Alpha Omega Epislon at Virginia Tech presents the 5th Annual A Capella Riff Off on Thursday, October 5, 2017 inside the Graduate Life Auditorium at Virginia Tech.

Come out and listen to Virginia Tech's finest sing it out for the title. Five rounds of edge-of-your-chair, nail-biting, aca-awesome competition, and ultimately you the audience decide the winner.

Participating A Capella groups include Mixed Emotions, Soulstice, Naturally Sharp, Juxtaposition and Sensations.

Here's how our version of the Riff Off will work:
We will pick a category at random. The first group to get on stage starts off the category. An A Capella group can change the song at anytime by jumping in and taking over the stage. Once a new group gets on stage, it's their turn to show you what they've got. Once a group finishes their song without being interrupted, that category is dead. But be careful, just because you don't get overtaken by another group doesn't mean your MC's won't call you out. This is a competition after all!

The winner will be decided by you! The group who has the most donations by the end of the night will be crowned the fifth annual Riff Off Champs. However, we do have judges that will also factor in so an A Capella group can't just donate $200.00 and win. So don't forget that loose change and spare dollars. Of course we can always accept Venmo donations in case the change isn't so loose and dollars aren't so spare.

Doors open at 6:30 pm and the music starts at 7:00 pm.

Alpha Omega Epsilon is a professional and social engineering sorority that focuses on promoting women in engineering while offering the bonds of sisterhood.
