Let's Code Blacksburg presents a two-night Family Fun Halloween "Talking Skull" Coding Make-n-Take Event on Thursday, October 26, 2017 and Friday, October 27, 2017 at the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center Concept Conference Room from 5:30-8:30 pm each night.

This is a really fun, brand new, Halloween STEM workshop with Let's Code Blacksburg! that's a real doozy!

It's a two night workshop where all you bring is your laptop and our instructors and helpers will step you and your kids through building and coding your very own, scary "Talking Skull" that you can program with your own words, if you like. It teaches kids and adults alike, both basic robotics and C++ programming language (what Windows and OSX is written in).

This is college level CS level material and some basic electronics, but we make it doable for kids as young as 9 years old or as old as 90.

The workshop cost is $40.00, but you get to keep the $37.00 in Arduino and electronic parts we ordered from China plus pizza and drinks for the two nights is included.

Attendees need to bring a laptop. And, minors under 16, must have a guardian present for the entire two night workshop.

This two night workshop is being held in the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center each night.

The Concept Conference Room is located at 1880 Pratt Drive within Suite 2018 in Blacksburg, VA within the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center.
